Hi everyone,
I have recently stepped up to be the coordinator for Society at Lightspeed Hobbies in Portage IN.
We play every other Thursday night, starting around 5pm CST.
If you're in the area come on out!
Next game day is next week, Thursday March 22nd.
We're hoping to have two tables.
I will be running Assault on the Kingdom of the Impossible (Tier 1-5) and William Ronald will be running King Xeros of Old Azlant (Tier 7-11) so please come out and play!

Great! I may have to try and make a trip down there to visit sometime. Maybe bring some of my players.
We are trying to grow the local group. So, if you are in Northwest Indiana or other parts of the Chicago area, we will be glad to have you show up. We run sessions every two weeks.

I guess one issue that we are looking at that may be of interest to other groups in Pathfinder Society is how to help groups grow.
One good thing that I have seen locally is that we are getting some new people into gaming, including young people. I consider this important as I would like to see our hobby not just continue, but to grow and and flourish. (Products like the Beginner's Box help greatly, but I think that a lot of the reasons why our hobby is still around is because some good GMs and players try to recruit people.)

This week went great! We had two tables go off and 13 players total!
Next session is April 5th and the scenario is scheduled to be The Dalsine Affair.
Being that we had 13 players though I'll make sure we're ready to run a second table if necessary.
If there are any scenarios in particular anyone is interested in let me know!

Actually I'm not sure Rene is our VC. I've been talking with Tracy from Indianapolis too. It's like we have two VCs!
In all seriousness though it'd be great to have you guys.
Right now the scenario scheduled for April 19th is The Beggar's Pearl to be run by yours truly.
We will probably have enough for a 2nd table, either of you up for running Cypher Mage?
And Bob how long will you be up for? Enough time for a weekend session or two?

I guess I just assumed the area stayed attached to the Chicago region since it is largely considered a suburb. And it is closer than Indianapolis. And it was were I was based from. But in the end, I don't suppose it matters. You guys are probably free to align with either region. Both VC's are cool so it's a win either way.

Unfortunately, probably not. I am expecting to start a new job that weekend. The trip up for Game Night would be a "dine 'n dash."

I could be convinced ;-), but I'm not 100% sure I can make it in the first place, so don't write my visit in ink, maybe just dark pencil. :-)

Oh wow looks like I forgot to post for last time.
Well last time we ran Among the Living and a newbie table that made characters and played Ambush in Absalom.
Next game night is this Thursdays!
We will be offering First Steps Part I, In Service to Lore for all our recent newer players (veterans can play too) and a throwback to Season 0, #17 Perils of the Pirate Pact! Arr!

Just realized that I had been neglecting this thread.
We're still going strong running 2 tables every two weeks.
Next session is 10/4/12 and we'll have The Citadel of Flame and Part 3 of First Steps.
Also, now that My Venture Lieutenantship is official I have set up a new email account for Society in Northwest Indiana. Please feel free to contact me at PFSNWI at gmail.com
I'll be working at setting up some form of website in the near future, probably just a war horn site to begin with.

Congratulations, Brian! As a fellow GM at Lightspeed Hobbies, I appreciate all the hard work.
I do like the Warhorn and it might be useful in helping attract attention to our games. Also, I think that there is a possibility of trying to help grow organized play in NW Indiana. (Arcticon is coming up in February in Valparaiso.)
