natural weapons rend

Advice

Is there a way for a PC with claws(dragon blooded DD) to get the Rend special ability?

The feat "Rending Claws" allows a player to rend.

Prerequisites: Str 13, two claw natural weapon attacks, base attack bonus +6.

Benefit: If you hit a creature with two claw attacks in the same turn, the second claw attack deals an additional 1d6 points of damage. This damage is precision damage and is not multiplied on a critical hit. You can use this feat once per round.

thanks man

Note that this is not exactly Rend, and it can stack with it by increasing the second claw's damage which is then followed by the 'real' Rend. Makes for a nasty baddy, and I've seen it used to good effect on an Eidolon too.

Boar Style from UC provides what is effectively a 2d6 rend, though there is a bot if a feat tax if you aren't a monk.

Boar Style is nasty, but it applies to unarmed strikes, not natural weapons like claws.
