Enchancement bonus to combat manuever

In the RAW, you can add a weapons enhancement bonus to a CMB check if it is a weapon that can be used to do so i.e. trip, disarm, etc.

Certainly, if you have a +1 Kama (lets just say), which has the trip weapon feature, you get to add the +1 to your CMB.

By the rules, a weapon with a special ability must also have at least a +1 enhancement bonus.

I am curious if you get a +2 bonus to trip if the weapon was a +1 Flaming Kama(a +1 equivalent enchant and a +1 enhancement for a total of a +2 enhancement) or just the +1 from the +1 and not count the flaming.

You add anything you normally would add to an attack roll with whatever specific weapon you are using to perform the maneuver. You don't add a +1 flaming enhancement to attack rolls, so it doesn't affect combat maneuvers.

Also, you can use any weapon to perform a combat maneuver now. The special features just add something extra, such as trip letting you drop your weapon on a failed attempt as to not get tripped yourself, or disarm giving you a +2 bonus on the attempt.

FAQ

You apply the enhancement bonus of any weapon you use to perform the maneuver.

Not 100% on the flaming, but I thought it required you to do damage to activate.
It definitely does not convert to an additional +1.

Ah, didn't see where FAQ had taken care of it. Thank for the link.
