Trap with Burning Skeletons...

Rules Questions

Hi,

I was making a room with 4 burning skeletons in it, tucked away in small alcoves along the walls with large urns filled with oil in front of them.

When anyone but a select few NPC badguys enter the room they are ordered to knock over the urns and attack the intruders, turning the room into a firey deathtrap.

My questions are:

1) Is this too complicated a command for the skeletons to understand? (I.E. too many faces to rememeber, too many things to do at once)

and

2) Are the skeletons ALWAYS burning or do they burst into flames when they become "active"?

Grand Lodge

1. The bad guys don't have to command them to push over the urns, just to advance and attack. Recognising multiple people is a bit iffy, so it might be better (and add a slightly interesting new option for PCs) for them to ignore people wearing a certain symbol.

2. "those whose bones burn with an unending fire" suggests it is always on. They could be behind barriers of piled-up but unmortared bricks, or invisible.
