Bleeding Critical

This feat states that it's effects stack, so does that mean the 2d6 bleed stacks with all other bleeding effects like wounding, bleeding attack talent, crippling critical duelist class feature, death domain bleeding touch and so on?

Err.. the effects of this feat stack. That is to say it stacks with itself. So if you activate Bleeding Critical multiple times you will add the bleed damage (from bleeding critical) to a number that is higher and higher.

It does not stack with other bleed effects.

Tis a good question though.

Not that it's likely, but I don't think the intent of the feat is to deny you your 2d6 if there happens to be larger bleed effect currently on the target.

I can't think of one off the top of my head (I'm assuming 7 flat bleed > 1d6 type of deal)
but ignoring that detail and assuming it works the way you said...

let's say a target has a 3d6 bleed going.
you crit with this feat.
under most interpretations of RAW, you couldn't ever get to stack your bleed

so I'd suspect what they mean is that the 3d6 remains, superceding but not negating the 2d6, such that if you crit AGAIN, the bleed damage is 4d6.

However, in terms of bookeeping, it's much easier just to say it stacks period and only worry about increasing the dice if someone with the feat crits again. (and it's not an improper reading of RAW to run it this way)

Which brings up the question of, what if multiple people have this feat and they all crit?
Well, all those bleeds should stack

Pretty sure the feat stacks so that you aren't denied its benefit just because you already crit.

The rules address this. The highest bleed value takes precedence and the other values are discarded.

Core Rules: Glossary wrote:
Bleed: A creature that is taking bleed damage takes the listed amount of damage at the beginning of its turn. Bleeding can be stopped by a DC 15 Heal check or through the application of any spell that cures hit point damage (even if the bleed is ability damage). Some bleed effects cause ability damage or even ability drain. Bleed effects do not stack with each other unless they deal different kinds of damage. When two or more bleed effects deal the same kind of damage, take the worse effect. In this case, ability drain is worse than ability damage.

If a target already is bleeding greater than 2d6 points per round, then this would not override the value. However, this brings up an interesting point regarding Bleeding Critical & Wounding weapons which could eventually exceed the amount the target is currently bleeding. The tracking of inactive bleeding effects is not detailed in the rules, but it would be interesting if it were monitored so that a 4 or 6d6 bleeding critical could take over.

If multiple folks have this feat and all crit together I suspect that the value would remain at 2d6 and not stack with other the instances of the feat.

was wondering for a while if it was supposed to be that you could take the feat more then once, and that effect stacked (as in 2 times the feat, 4d6 dmg on a crit. but afaik, feats can only be taken once, unless it says otherwise in the feat description)

but meh, guess it's up to the DM / player to keep count of how many bleeding crits are stacked on him.

"Benefit: Whenever you score a critical hit with a slashing or piercing weapon, your opponent takes 2d6 points of bleed damage (see Conditions) each round on his turn, in addition to the damage dealt by the critical hit. Bleed damage can be stopped by a DC 15 Heal skill check or through any magical healing. The effects of this feat stack." assuming ofc that it stacks with itself and only itself (and or other chars crits with the same feat)

isn't it, specific rule trumps general rule ? so the bleed dmg from the feat would keep stacking as long as the target isn't healed and you keep critting ?
