From Ultimate Magic:
"The athame acts as a dagger, but the hand holding it is still considered free for the purpose of casting spells and delivering touch attacks. The magus can use the athame as if he were fighting with two weapons...."
Does the above mean that when the Spellblade uses the athame as an off handed weapon he incurs the same penalties as anyone that fights with two weapons but doesn't have the 2 weapon fighting feat?
