Throwing a class to the wolves.

Homebrew and House Rules

I have this idea for a class but I want it to be as balanced as I can get it so I was wondering if I might get some input on it. Please tell me your thoughts, and don't hold back.

That link does not work.

What you need to do is hit the big blue share button in the top right. Change the Privacy to anyone with link.

Then it'll give you the link to it :)

A few formatting errors.

Samurai is in Challenge. You get a combat style feat at 1st level, but you get the ability at 2nd? Ninja is in the ki ability.

Energy Push: finally a unique ability! Make it go against CMD. Drop sonic. Oh wait, it's just a psionic power :(

Bleh. I can understand copying a few abilities, but I don't see anything original. Maybe Blade Shield. But...damn. Your BAB to AC against the target you are challenging? That's just...no.

And being able to stack Challenge, Smite Evil, and favored enemy?

No, this won't do. I think you need to scrap the whole thing, mate :(

I can't really tell what your are going for either. It's cherry picking all the good things from classes. So...what are you going for? I'll gladly help try to get what you're going for, and I think others will as well.

The best I can come up with for what you were going for is a glass cannon. With the emphasis on cannon.

Or maybe a Death Star.

I was going for a "Jedi-like" class in the sense of it being an old and powerful teaching. but from the sound of it the force might be a bit too strong with this one. I took all the bits that I liked and tossed them in. so now would be the thinning of the powers. what thoughts do you have on what should be dropped or pulled back?
