Does there exist information and cost on how to "add" a preperation ritual to your own spellbook?

I know what these are but don't understand how they work. Can someone help explain the mechanics?

they look like someone used magic iteam creation and used the base iteam as a spell book. so there for you have the cost of the spells and then the cost of the once aday effect as if it where a once non slot magic iteam. not really sure tho. i would have to actually do the math and see. exspanding on this may be a good idea for arcane prep spell casters.
