So i'm going to run a campain of Jade regent, and was wondering if an oracle can venerate pazuzu. Since it's a small group i was thinking of running a Human swordsaint who takes a dip lore oracle for sidestep secret (and dumping dex) and later keeps an item that typically is a bane.
The oracle sections says they venerate all gods that support their ideals. Perhaps some strange lore he finds takes his sight but imparts in him the side step lore (if he makes it to second level), and he's challenged secretly by pazuzu to trim his flock in brinewall, and later, infiltrate the north, etc.
So, instead of give them a cursed item, i can make my 'mysterious blind samurai' a little better.
Nothing in the Oracle requires worship of anything -- oracles simply are. This isn't to say they can't venerate something... just that they don't have to.

Sorry, made spoiler free. In the first adventure, late in it, an item of no story significance(in jade regent at least)in in the loot. Maybe something that will be in the after "shackles" adventure path, haha.
And when i played dnd online, i picked up calling my PCs toons on forums. I helped campain for the real warforged stats in that game, well before in was free to play.
But yeah, i wanted to make a blind samurai, and i like dumping dex for cha... i was thinking of ways to get crane style and deflect arrows, or full panther style, so he could blindly walked up and clobber folks with free unarmed attacks vs AOO haha.
I was trying to find a fast way to get the spell darkness, so he could get those nightmare feats for unarmed strikes and darkness... But only a drow gets fast entry to that tree. A drow would make his dumped dex get to 9, racial +2 dex, and up his cha. But free human feats make for more quirk and less disguise checks. 2 lvls of mnk/1 levl of unarmed fighter and you can get a maxed animal style, too.
Either way, he's not very sneaky, but he'll find info, and can diplomacy and intimidate... when in at least 30 feet haha.
