Hey Everyone,
Just started my first Pathfinder games after years of 3.5 and my group is starting out with Carrion Crown (no spoilers please) and I decided to make a bomb focused alchemist. I was just wondering if there was any good prestige classes or base class multiclass to combine with this style of build. All Pathfinder material is acceptable but no 3.5 conversion stuff (I miss my Completes, Dragon Magazine and MIC).
A couple of notes; I want to do at least 8-10 lvls of Alchemist. I picked up extra discovery infusion at 3rd lvl so I can now toss my extracts to the beatsticks and I am using the mutagens as a more last resort combat or skill booster. The point of the character is to be a back line ranged support damage type. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The only Prestige class to continue your bomb damage is the Master Chymist, and I don't recommend that for a bomber Alchemist. I actually do not recommend any base classes to dip into either. A high level alchemist is plenty strong, and there are lots of bomb types to have fun with. Once you get a few levels under you, you will be hitting touch AC really reliably, and focus on the types of bombs that do status effects as well. Frost is great for Staggering, Force for knocking prone. If you are a straight Alchemist, use Poison bomb on yourself since you are immune to it, and everyone around you loses Con.
I just got to the point where my Alchemist makes Greater Alchemical Simulacrum of himself and gets crazy amounts of extracts per day. There are lots of great opportunities at higher levels for fun stuff.
