House Rules

Hit Points
Characters start first level with max hit points any time a character rolls new hit points and they don’t want their roll they can take half plus one of the max dice roll instead.

Statistics
Stats will be rolled by rolling 3d6 dropping the lowest and adding 6 to your total. If your total bonus doesn’t add up to 10 you may reroll your stats.

Character Traits
All character will select a three trait (one Campaign and two other) from the Pathfinder Character Traits List during character creation
.
Maximum Starting Gold
All characters begin play with the maximum possible gold for their 1st level class rather than rolling for it.

Hero Points
Pathfinder APG Hero Points will be used with the following modifications max number of Hero Points equal half your level plus three and no feats, magic items, or spells based on hero points are allowed

Drawing an Item
Any character who can draw a weapon as a part of a move can draw anything reasonable (a wand, potion, etc.) as a part of move. This is also true for the feat quick draw

Healing
When using a healing effect and the player do not like the roll of the dice they may take a standard amount equal to half of each dice.

Vital Strike
Vital Strike Feat chain can be used anytime you make a single attack. (Charge, Spring Attack, Ect)

Exploding Critical Hits
Whenever you threaten a critical hit if your confirmation roll is another critical hit (and confirms the critical) then increase the critical multiplier by one.

Critical Fumbles
If a character rolls a 1 on an attack roll and fails to confirm the character will consult their confirmation roll to this chart.
20-18 No effect
17-15 Character loses all attacks for the rest of the round
14-7 Character loses all attacks for the rest of the round and provokes an attack of opportunity unless the character makes an acrobatics check with a DC equal to the lowest CMD of characters threatening him
6-2 Character loses all attacks for the rest of the round and provokes an attack of opportunity at minus 5 AC.
1 Character loses all attacks for the rest of the round and provokes an attack of opportunity at minus 5 AC while falling prone and throwing his weapon (1d4 times 5 feet away)

Instant Death
If a character rolls 3 20s in a row on an attack the victim of the attack is automatically reduced to the dying condition. If a character rolls 3 1s in a row on an attack the attacker is automatically reduced to the dying condition. (Character must be vulnerable to instant death)

Fumbled Saving Throws
If a character rolls a 1 on a saving throw the character increases the effect or the duration by fifty percent

Fumbled Concentration Checks
Anytime a spell caster rolls a natural 1 and fails their concentration check they provoke an AOO.

Experience Points
Characters will not receive Experience points but will be given levels when the GM and the story provides for it.

Books in Use
Only Paizo books will be allowed in this game. Anything from Paizo before the Pathfinder RPG will be converted

Side Note
If you have a broken ass combo or ability please discusses it with the D.M. before the game. Do not try to surprise the D.M. and spring something crazy during the game Thanks

Nothing unusual, maybe except that roll three 1s on attack roll to disembowel oneself. Unless you have extremally lucky or unlucky players it should not be really issue.

Just the typical problems of altering Criticals and Fumbles:

Any new rule you apply to die rolls in general, with affect the players more harshly than it will affect the NPCs.

Allowing fumbles is not "even" because anyone can fumble. The PCs will roll many more times over the course of the game than any NPC, and will thus fumble far more often than enemies (and potentially die from three 1s). Likewise, PCs will be attacked far more often than NPCs and will be subjected to the auto-kill from three 20s far more often.

Oh, and any instant death effect is worse, too. There are countless NPCs in any given game--if any one of them is insta-gibbed, no big deal. Even the BBEG can just be replaced without emotion. But PCs are important--a PC randomly dying from three 20s is devastating to that player. It's far worse for them.

*Statistics. 3d6 -lowest +6 usually generates -huge- stats. 2d6+6 would be more suited.
*Instant Death. Looks kinda' harsh to me, tho the mathematical 'chances' are low. Since there are "many monsters on the loose", and getting a series of '1's might be more usual than you think.
*Experience Points. Seems ok. If you take some time to adjust/calculate the 'work' needed to level up. Used it on and off.

Its no longer instant death it gives you the dieing condition -1 and bleeding out

The players wanted instant death but I lessoned it up

I like to play games with PCs with good stats my thoughts are if the character cant be real good at what he is doing he mine as well stay a farmer (every character should have at least one 18)

Im very brutal as a DM and the characters lives are always in danger so this makes it a little better for them
