clockwork player character/possibly undead as well kind people can be found where in what magazine or books?
Green Ronin's Advanced Bestiary has a clockwork template and numerous intelligent undead templates. It is 3.5 and out of print I believe, so you'll likely need to buy used. But I highly recommend getting it anyway. It's one of the better 3.5 books.
Skortched Urf's Fursona has rules for clockwork player characters as well as Lovecraftian horrors, I belive, but I can't remember if it included anything for undead. It is a modular race building system though, which could easily work with some reskinning.
Otherwise, as Name Violation pointed out, the Advanced Race Guide playtest would be a good place to start.
