The title of the thread really says it all, but to elaborate a bit more my group has just started our jade regent game a few months ago with some first timers joining a few veterans from one of the groups I run. As a gm what excited me the most was the romance option with for players with the NPC's as I felt it was a great way to encourage players (especially new ones) to break out of their comfort zones and try some deeper rp and give them built in mechanical rewards for it and was so happy to get the opportunity walk through it as a player with a GM who I believe will nail it out of the park. Now we are still in part 1 of the book and heading to brinewall but I'm sure many of you have gotten your chance to really put the system through its paces and have some awesome moments that have come out of it and I would like to ask anyone who has some good ones to post here and tell your story I really want to hear what people have had come out of this.

She's not technically one of the NPCs with a romance score, but our party's (female) gnome master summoner has been very flirty with Spivey since recruiting her into the caravan. Nothing's come of it so far, but depending on how things go I might let a relationship ensue.
Fae relationships like that can prove to be... Interesting. At times. :P

We've had a lot, with both the significant NPCs and others ... it's a big part of the game. We're in the middle of The Hungry Storm right now ... Here are some highlights I can think of so far.
(Bear in mind I am more open to mixed-alignment groups than many GMs, and as a result have a game in which a couple of the potentially inimical NPCs ended up joining the group instead.)
- Reta Bigbad was brought over from We Be Goblins to be a character in the Licktoad Village. After she knocked herself unconscious by shooting herself with a firework and falling off a building, the party's Cleric rescued her and healed her. She declared him her prince and asked for his hand in marriage. After discussion, she decided that it would be acceptable for him to adopt her as his daughter instead. He did so, and she has been traveling with the group ever since.
- The party's Druid took Shalelu for an ocean swim outside Roderic's Cove and introduced her to a turtle using Speak With Animals.
- The Cavalier took Ameiko out for Tian food, and then to see the High Skald perform in Kalsgard.
- The Ranger got a private room in a bathhouse in Kalsgard with Buttersnips (which ended in tears, actually, but they made up).
- The Oracle took Ameiko out for clifftop picnics, first in the Land of the Linnorm Kings and then in Iqaliat (although the second didn't go well.)
- Kelda and the Barbarian got given free passes to the Hall of Splendid Valor brothel in Kalsgard, felt bored, so decided to start a fight until they got thrown out naked into the street.
- Zaiobe took the Cleric and the Sorcerer out for a flight in the Rimethirst Mountains, aided by the sorcerer's strength spells.
- For various reasons, I ruled that the Aurora is closer to Golarion than it is to earth, just a few miles up. The Druid used Air Walk to take Shalelu dancing in it.
- Similarly, Zaiobe flew the Cleric and the Sorcerer up into the Aurora.
That's what immediately leaps to mind. There have also been tons of neat gifts, naturally. Spivey has also been flirting heavily with the Ranger.

The dwarf fighter taught Kelda how to properly braid her hair.
The kensai gave Shalelu his first horse as a gift, and constantly has drinking contests with the elven ranger (he usually loses them).
The priestess of Shelyn flirts heavily with Sandru, though now she's secretly engaged to the party's naive monk (which he hasn't fully realized yet). It became even more complicated when Prince Bakrasahn of Ordu-Aganhei took a keen interest in trying to make the priestess his wife!
My character is a half-elf bard who had a childhood crush on Ameiko. Her feelings and relationship with Ameiko have been her main focus all campaign long, and they have been developing further as the game progresses. I've been chronicling Thalia's thoughts in my campaign journal, located here. I'm a bit behind where we're currently at in the campaign, but we're not able to play for the next few weeks, so hopefully I'll have some time to catch up before our next session.

There's only really been one great/cute little moment so far, although I'm not sure if the player is role-playing at romance or not (this player usually doesn't role-play, so it's hard to tell when he's trying to).
During the trip toward Brinewall, our caravan met a Tian-Min bird merchant who had been abandoned by the trade caravan he was traveling with, along with 5 heavy cages of various birds. The merchant offered to sell us some of his birds, as he did not wish to set them free, but also didn't wish to abandon them (we ultimately took him onto our caravan, along with his birds). The Qinggong monk (childhood friend of Ameiko) bought a mountain blue bird and kept it with him.
When Ameiko passed out after arriving at Brinewall, the monk left the mountain blue bird in Ameiko's wagon, for it to be there when she woke up.

Thank you everyone it's great to hear how many different ways this mechanic has turned out for everyone. I will say I am really happy to see that there are other groups with Licktoad survivors. In ours I'm getting to run Mogmurch as our groups divine caster and the only hero to survive the whole thing (Chuffy sided with Gutwad when Mogmurch tried to get revenge), he wears an over sized bearskin, wields a boar spear (The Tooth of Nord), and wears his "thinking monocle" while prepping his spells/doing alchemy or just planning seriously. To make matters worse they have just ran into Mogmurch's mate Rempty leading a goblin attack on the caravan. Turns out that she was the only goblin that the party couldn't kill while investigating the village and allowed to go free and has now become a gunslinger who wields pistols made out of old fireworks. Mogmurch is currently making her a perfume from the scent gland of a dire skunk that stumbled into the campsite later that evening.

Also at Brainiac, I have been doing the same thing for our campaign as well, though from the perspective of my cavalier rather then Mogmurch (I'm running 2 characters in this group) and am doing it on tumblr. link here.
