Does this spell grant you a +2 at 3rd lvl, or 6th lvl?

Calling upon the strength and wisdom of a deity, you gain a +1 luck bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls for every three caster levels you have (at least +1, maximum +3). The bonus doesn't apply to spell damage.

Level 5 - +1
Level 6 - +2
Level 7 - +2
Level 8 - +2
Level 9 and higher - +3

not sure i agree... looking at another example where it spells out the level where you hit the maximum....

Shield of Faith

This spell creates a shimmering, magical field around the target that averts and deflects attacks. The spell grants the subject a +2 deflection bonus to AC, with an additional +1 to the bonus for every six levels you have (maximum +5 deflection bonus at 18th level).

The wording is nearly exact (+x for every y caster levels you have)

If Shield of Faith followed the rules AD spelled out, it would be +2 lvls 1-11, +3 12-17, +4 18-23, +5 24 onwards.

I believe it should be +1, +1, +2, +2, +2, +3, onwards


For Shield of Faith, the word "additional" is key.
