Zen archer+ammunition help

Advice

Okay for my DM's campaign I'm making a zen archer. It would help to get some advice on items, feats, and types of ammunition.
Human level 4
15 point buy, dump 5, one trait
str 12
con 10
dex 14
int 9
wis 20
cha 7
feats:
precise shot
point blank shot
perfect strike
weapon focus
point blank master
deadly aim
toughness
improved initiative
trait is wisdom in the flesh for climb
qinggong for barkskin and featherstep
vows are cleanliness, truth, and fasting
favored is for bonus skill points
skills:climb,stealth,acrobatics,perception, and sense motive maxed.

future feats: alertness, monkey style, cluster shots, and perhaps combat reflexes with snapshot+improved ss.

For items I have an ioun torch, ring of sustenance, and +1 magic composite longbow(+1 for strength) 1325gold to spend
I think the ring of sustenance is good because it allows me to keep watch over my party and it makes sense with the vow of fasting. Also is there something that's a better source of light that doesn't cost a lot and I don't have to hold? (I like the ioun torch because it reminds me of a disney movie called the black cauldron) So do you have any ideas that could help? I need mostly help with ammunition types.

Isn't the vow of fasting + ring of sustenance kinda cheating? It's not a vow if it's super easy to do.

"I vow to never murder more than 10 orphans . Give me extra ki plz. ""

Yes, technically you are making a vow... But it's worthless.

And look into durable arrows.

It's not like Vow of Fasting does anything besides prevent you from using potions. You still eat enough not to starve, it's just boring ol' rice.

Scarab Sages

I opted for str over dex on my zen archer, primarily because it only gives a little more ac and 1 more AoO when you take combat reflexes, but is otherwise redundant after 3rd lvl. Alternatively, if the GM lets you use the guided enchantment on weapons, thats even better.

Silver Blanched Cold Iron Arrows are great at 20 for 12g. (1g x 2 for 20 Cold Iron + 10g (5g per 10) for the Silver Weapon Blanch)

Later, once you can afford it, you might consider an Efficient Quiver for 1800g. The ability to stash your bow, keep a few backup melee weapons and always have 1 specific arrow out of 60 available is wonderful.

Oh... and if you feel like really going the comic book archer route you could try some of the crazier specialty arrows. (Though to be honest some of them are more than a little Green Arrow cheesy!)

Actually a durable arrow with Continual Flame cast on the butt end could be useful as a remote light source... just keep it wrapped up if you plan on sneaking.

Ammunition types:
Standard arrows (1 gp for 20)
Cold Iron (2 gp for 20)
Blunt Arrows (2 go for 20)

Depending on your resources/source books available:

Advanced Player's Guide:
Weapon blanch, silver (5 gp coats 10 arrows)
Similar to silvered, but no damage modifier, and a bunch cheaper
Weapon blanch, adamantine (100 gp coats 10 arrows)
Similar to adamantine, but does not ignore hardness, but tons cheaper

Pathfinder Society Field Guide:
Weapon blanch, ghost salt (200 gp for 10 arrows)
Lets arrows act as though they had Ghost Touch (ignoring incorporeal)

If you can, see if your GM will let you buy a small quantity of adamantine arrows, for the bypass hardness option when sundering at a distance or attacking animated things. They do, however, cost 60 gp plus 5 cp each, so a full batch of 20 adamantine arrows would run 1201 gp (ouch)

Make sure you have an abundance of normal arrows.

And, if you can find some way to do it, see if you can get Abundant Ammunition (Ultimate Combat) cast on your primary quiver.

Not really considering the purpose of the vows is for mental, physical, and moral perfection. The item is helping support that and there's nothing wrong with that.

Btw how much is is enough?

20 blunt
20 cold iron
20 normal
10 silver blanch

how many anyway to have the at will ability to make my arrows light up? Are whistling arrows good to have? Also I think that the ring shows even more commitment considering it pushes me away from food all together.
