That's something I didn't really think about. I know about pit traps of course, but I wasn't really thinking about anything else besides doors. I'm burdened with being a new GM to a bunch of new players. I was worried that my brother's rogue would be unnecessary.
Likewise, a particularly devious trap-setter will have the occasional trap where only the one setting it off is safe, and everyone else is hit by something. Using open/close to set it off won't end well...
