Is there any way for an Arcane Sorcerer to acquire Druid spells? I know I could get a couple from the Groveborn or Fey Bloodline, but I was hoping to be Arcane and avoid Crossblooded, if possible.
Is there some other way? A feat perhaps? A prestige class?
I'm focusing on control, and I'm a big fan of some of the Druid's control and utility spells, like Entangle, Wood Shape, Plant Growth, Spike Growth, Wall of Thorns, etc.
I know the easy answer is, "play a druid," but I really have no interest in that, not the least of which reason is because I hate preparing spells. Maybe a type of Oracle gets these spells?
I don't know, even if there was an Oracle like that, I don't think their normal spell list (ignoring these Druid spells) has enough control and utility on it to satisfy my desire to be a Spontaneous Battlefield Controller.

If you use 3rd party material, yes, yes there is. In the super genius guide to the Magus [not to be confused with the paizo magus which came out after this product]. In this class you can mix 2 primary casting class' spell lists with sorceror spell progression. So you could take the sorceror's list as your 'primary' list and the druid list as your secondary list, allowing you to take druid spells at 1 level higher then their normal spell level.
You can even take some of the sorceror bloodlines as your mystic bond, though I am of the opinion that metamagic pool is a better option.

You can use Independent Research and spell research & designing rules to make new spells, or simpler, copy another casters spells into your list.
The simplest way is 1000gp and 1 week spent per spell level.
More if it's a fancier spell, such as miracle, where the cost and time could go up.
That's kind of awesome if I can get a GM that will let that fly. Neat.
I know this question is a long shot. I really like some of those spells, but I still want to be Arcane because I want a familiar and extra spells known even more.
Hmm. If I used Eldritch Heritage to get the familiar instead, could I still take Improved Familiar at level 7, or would I need to wait until 9th?

Well, tell your gm that mixed spell list isn't that bad.
Alchemist has both Cure Wounds spells, which usually are divine type.
As well as Identify, which almost only arcane casters got as far as I know.
Paying 1.000gp or more for a spell really isn't that bad, it's not much different than buying a wonderous item. You still have to spend spell slots and spells known on it.

wait until 9th
Can you give some support for why you think that? I can see it go either way.
On the one hand, I'm considered a Sorcerer-2 for the familiar.
On the other hand, one could easily argue that the -2 only applies for the Familiar table and how they increase in Intelligence and special features and such.
I mean, getting a Psuedodragon Improved familiar only requires that I have a caster level of 7, which I would have at level 7, and nothing about Eldritch Heritage suggests that it affects my Caster Level.
Further, the Familiar feature just cares about your actual HD, not your Sorcerer levels, so would it have my full HD for effects like the Psuedodragon's sleep poison?
