Flying Mounts and Encumbrance

Rules Questions

In 3.5, flying mounts could only fly with a light load. Does this still hold in Pathfinder, or can a mount fly with a heavier load (or a light load and heavy armor)?

Yeas pathfinder kept the "Flying mounts can't fly in medium or heavy barding." line in the equipment chapter. And then in the "Encumbrance by Weight" section...

...A medium or heavy load counts as medium or heavy armor for the purpose of abilities or skills that are restricted by armor. Carrying a light load does not encumber a character.

Cool, thanks.
