Beaststrike club and Dragon disciple

Rules Questions

First post, yay me!

I have a Druid/Sorcerer/Dragon Disciple levels 4/1/6, total character level 11. I also have a beaststrike club. My question is if my Dragon disciple's 1D6 energy type of damage applied to bite and claw attacks can be used with my beaststrike club (claw) and beaststrike club (bite).

Also, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! KEEP THOSE DICE (or random number generators) ROLLING IN 2012!

well perhaps you are just a cheat and a scallywag who ignores red diamonds in your hero lab profile! (just kidding, it's Maka'u. bummer you didn't get a response yet)

well done in raising my hopes that this question was addressed and then dashing them completely when i saw that it was you. I will give you props at next game session. jerk. But, on the topic of hero lab and the beaststrike club... it wont apply my improved natural attack (bite) feat or my wildshape charge pumped into my beaststrike club (set to bite attack), to increase the club's damage dice.

All others feel free to comment on this thread about if my dragon disciples acid bite would give my beaststrike club (bite) the ability to add acid damage.

Now, how does a beaststrike club interact with the feral combat training feat?

Since it says that it interacts with feats and spells but not spell like abilities and class abilities, I would have to say that by RAW it wouldn't work. Also, since it changes into the limb of an animal and not a dragon, it doesn't make sense that it would get the energy attacks of the dragon claws. Which is a shame, because an item like that would be pretty cool.

Feral Combat Training (Combat)

You were taught a style of martial arts that relies on the natural weapons from your racial ability or class feature.

Prerequisite: Improved Unarmed Strike, Weapon Focus with selected natural weapon.

Benefit: Choose one of your natural weapons. While using the selected natural weapon, you can apply the effects of feats that have Improved Unarmed Strike as a prerequisite, as well as effects that augment an unarmed strike.

Special: If you are a monk, you can use the selected natural weapon with your flurry of blows class feature.

I don't get why you posted this feat. The part you bolded says "as well as effects that augment an unarmed strike." Unarmed strike being the operative term here. Dragon claws are natural weapons. A beaststrike club would count as a natural weapon here, too, so I don't see how this feat would let the OP use the claw's energy type with the club.
