So in a strict interpretation of the rules, no, since you wouldn't be moving directly towards the enemy.
As a GM, though, I generally allow charges so long as you are moving in a straight line, as I think it's more realistic, but RAW no.

If I understand your question:

Where P is the PC, A is the Ally, and E is the Enemy.
Yes. You may charge forward 25' and attack the enemy that is diagonaly forward from you.
You may not charge 30' to be horizontal with the enemy since that is not the closest square where you would be adjacent to the enemy.
