Product Discussion link weirdness

So it's weird. I'm in the Product Discussion messageboard, and I can go into any of the product discussion topics.

But then, IN any of those topics, I can no longer get back to the Product Discussion board ... the "Product Discussion" link is missing.

Unlike this forum, for example, where I see "Paizo / Messageboards / paizo.com / Website Feedback / Current Thread Title" in the location section - in Product Discussion the "Product Discussion" one is missing, and it's just "... / paizo.com / Current Thread Title"

I have to click on paizo.com, then on Product Discussion, and then I'm back in the Product Discussion forum.

Weird.

The same thing happens in one of the other forums that doesn't get much traffic; might be the Pathfinder Campaign Setting one, I'm not sure.

I'm pretty sure the product discussion threads haven't included a link back to the product discussion forum for awhile now, possibly ever since they were introduced. Mainly because they are conceptually more tied to the product than to the forum.

However, this has been bugging me a bit recently so it might be time to revisit those assumptions.

I know until recently you were still able to go back to the product discussion forum. It can be a bit annoying this way - it becomes easier to just go back to the front page, and then you are only looking at the top ten or so products...

If by "awhile now" you mean "for several weeks" then you're correct. Because of Dark Roads and Golden Hells I haven't been on the boards as much as usual since sometime in Novermber.

That's how I have always read the boards, however ... topic/forum/topic/forum so it was very noticeable to me when the forum link went away ... at first it just confused the heck outta me.

I figure something in the code for products changed; it's only products that have that issue.

All threads should have consistent footers now, whether they're product discussion, blog discussion, campaign or ordinary threads. The "add new post" link is also back.
