A defender who fails this saving throw is stunned for 1 round (until just before your next turn).
So my question is, if you do a stunning fist when it is not your turn (say with a crane style riposte or a snake style attack when they miss you), how long do they stay stunned for?
So say Mnk init: 10, Goblin Init 15
Monk goes at init 10, does a full attack
Goblin goes at init 15 is riposted and stunned with stunning fist
Does the stun wear off at initiative 9 (i.e. just before the monk's next turn) or at init 14 (1 round later)?

To me the intent of Stunning Fist is obviously to stun the target for one round. In your example, then, I would say that the stun wears off at the beginning of the goblin's next turn (I have always read the "until just before your next turn" to be equivalent to "at the beginning of your next turn"), or initiative 14 if you like.
While this leads to the monk getting an extra attack on his turn while the goblin is stunned, I think it's in the spirit of the feat; however, I know of no official source to back me up on this.

I agree that the intent if Stunning Fist is to stun the target for 1 round, and also that there is likely no official ruling on this uncommon scenario.
I'm somewhat confused by your order of actions; higher initiatives go first, so the original scenario becomes:
Monk init: 15, Goblin Init 10
Monk goes at init 15, does a full attack
Goblin goes at init 10 is riposted and stunned with stunning fist
If the Monk had stunned at 15, it would wear off after 16 the next round, just before the Monk's turn.
With the Monk stunning the goblin on the goblin's turn--in fact most likely after the goblin's turn, since the stunning fist is after the goblin's attack has been resolved. Given that, I'd say the stun wears off after 10 (and before 9) the following round. That is, the goblin is stunned for at least one turn of everyone on the initiative list, including himself.

I agree on both points - I missed both the initiative reversal and the riposte specification. Perhaps I should get some sleep...
