So im interested in making a Duelist for my next character if my current monk bits the dust, my build will consist of 2 lvls of monks and the rest of free hand fighter taking snake style and crane style so i can have an ac bump and a piercing off hand attack using TWF.
Now my question is this can i use an unarmed offhand piercing attack and still gain all the benefits of the duelist class and twf or have i missed a line or two?

When making a precise strike, a duelist cannot attack with a weapon in her other hand.
If your DM agrees that this does not apply to an "Off-hand" attack made using a knee or headbutt, then you're fine. If your DM reads that as applying to any secondary weapon, you're not.

A duelist gains the ability to strike precisely with a light or one-handed piercing weapon, adding her duelist level to her damage roll.
When making a precise strike, a duelist cannot attack with a weapon in her other hand or use a shield.
The duelist makes an attack with a light or one-handed weapon but he cannot attack with a weapon in her other hand (offhand).
No offhand attacks means no two weapon fighting.
No two weapon fighting means no attacks with hands, feet etc.
I hate word-by-word interpretations .. read the fluff and play the game.

According to SKR in this post, you can indeed make unarmed strikes with your free hand and still get the benefits of the Duelist abilities.
