Failed Acrobatics w / Move through Ally space

Rules Questions

I don't see any guidelines on where to place a rogue who has failed an acrobatics check to move through a threatened square when the movement is out of an ally occupied square.

_A
e_
__

Rogue is coming from the right and passing through A, trying to get north of e. I was thinking that he would go one square to the left of A but that would mean he isn't threatened by e which seems odd.

The rogue would keep moving where they were originally headed and would suffer the attack of opportunity for movement from whatever it was trying to tumble past.

Are you thinking about trying to move through a square containing an enemy? That would be the only time you'd stop tumbling on a failed check that I can think of.

If you're trying to pass through a square occupied by an enemy, you "bounce back" to the last legal open square you passed through. If you're just passing by, you keep going.

Thanks, I was thinking the movement was lost in both cases for whatever reason.
