Sorry if this been asked before. Reading Arcane Lock says now a lock have a +10 to its DC to be opened using Disable Device. Does this mean that a rogue can now bypass this spell on a door? I am confused because on the same wording of the spell is stated that a door arcane-locked can only be open by breaking it or using knock spell... Also, can Hold Portal be bypassed by disable Device? The wording of the spell doesn't say anything about raising the DC of the lock, in this case.
Thanks!

No answers? In 3.5 the mutual consensus was that you couldn't use Open Locks to bypass Hold Portal and Arcane Lock spells, but Pathfinder rule suggests the contrary...

I believe that it is still the case for Arcane Lock now that you must use Dispel Magic or Knock to get past it. The bonus to the DC of Disable Device is for the purpose of the Knock spell, since you need to make a check that beats the Disable Device DC of the lock... so basically casting Arcane Lock on an actual lock is a stronger defense than just casting it on something that does not have a lock.
