So Im wondering how a Quarterstaff Master interacts with a MotEH and their use of 2h weapons, would Quarterstaff Master essentially treat all 1&2h weapons as a 1h Quarterstaff?
Im working on a MotEH+Weapon Adept and it would be wonderful if my weapon focus/spec could apply to anything 1handed/2handed. all for spending a feat on Quarterstaff Master.

The Monk of the Empty Hand has
... A monk of the empty hand treats normal weapons as improvised weapons with the following equivalencies (substituting all of their statistics for the listed weapon): a light weapon functions as a light hammer, a one-handed weapon functions as a club, and a two-handed weapon functions as a quarterstaff....
Since the ability says, "normal weapons," this means that we can look up on the weapon table whether the weapon is light, one-handed, or two-handed to see how it is wielded in the monk's hands.
Any two-handed weapon in the monk's hands would become an improvised quarterstaff. With the Quarterstaff Master feat he could use that improvised quarterstaff one-handed, foregoing the ability to wield it as a double weapon. Thus, he could wield a greataxe one-handed and deal 1d6 damage with it. And if he had Weapon Focus(Quarterstaff) and Weapon Specialization(Quarterstaff) they would apply to the one-handed greataxe.
However, if he wielded a battleaxe it would count as an improvised club. I suspect it would count so even if wielded two-handed, because the equipment list calls it a one-handed weapon. Thus, it would not be an improvised quarterstaff and would not benefit from Weapon Focus(Quarterstaff) nor Weapon Specialization(Quarterstaff).
