inherent int bonus and retroactive skill points

Rules Questions

Simple question if anyone able to answer.
if my intellect increases via wish/tomes would the resulting skill point gain be retroactive?
Thank,
DS
Can we get an official publisher response?

Yes. You would also retroactively gain any other benefits of higher Intelligence, such as more languages and more level 1 Wizard/Magus spells.

yes, if your intelligence modifier goes up you retroactivly gain new skill points.

This comes up a lot, and the above answer is correct.

See the thread Permanent Increases to Intelligence, do that grant retroactive Skill Points? as an example of a fuller discussion.

Or this post by James Jacob for an official word.

Actually the other bonusses isn't that clear...

For languages it is specifically stated that is "The number of bonus languages your character knows at the start of the game". I cant really get less retrospective.

As far as skill points being retroactively gained based on INT MOD increases yes unless you get them from a "Headband of Vast Intelligence." Those skill points are gained in a specific skill that is linked to the item. Languages are based on begining character INT, however I think if it should allow you to gain Languages as well.
