If someone sees someone else go invisible (or hide in plain sight or whatever), can the observer ready an action to attack Mr. Invisible when he becomes visible again, most likely when he attacks and breaks invisibility?
Readied actions go off before the triggering action...
But you're flat-footed against unseen opponents (unless you Perceive them). Can you take readied actions vs. someone you're flat-footed against? You can't take AoOs (unless you have Combat Reflexes), but what about readied actions?
I guess, more generally, what I'm wondering is if you can beat someone's readied action?

This depends precisely upon when the invisibility breakes. As i understand the invisibility breaks during or at the end of the attack action (e.g.when the attack connects). Therefore if the readied actions is "Ill attack him, when i see him." the readied action cannot happen before the attack.

I would say no, because flat-footed vs someone means you are not aware enough of the other to react towards him.

I would say yes.
E.g. A and B walk into C and D, A and B have bows drawn and win ini. A readies shot vs C, triggering if C initiates any nonsurrender action (and A says to C and D "surrender or die" or whatever). B readies shot vs D, triggering if D does any nonsurrender action. D comes next and readies attack with thron action vs B, if C initiates combat (D has quick draw and C is the leader who decides whether they fight or surrender). C decides to attack, quick draws weapon and charges A.
As and Ds readied actions trigger (but which on first?).
But Cs readied action triggers at well.
So B shoots D, then D shoots B and A shoots C simultaneously and then C charges A.
