Where's the Pathfinder Penanggalan?

I was looking for a Pathfinder write-up of the penanggalan the other day, and after some searching found nothing on this particular monster besides a very brief mention in Classic Horrors Revisited, which is a shame, since I really enjoy that particular monster.

So, in hope that I was just looking in the wrong places, I'm turning to the Pathfinder community: is there a Pathfinder-compatible penanggalan out there somewhere? Third-party products are acceptable too!

If you find a copy of the old 3.0 Oriental Adventures, you'll find the monster you crave in the Monsters chapter of that book. I have no idea how it wound up there, but... well, it's there.

Since it did get a mention in Classic Horrors Revisited, I take that to mean Paizo is aware of the creature and it will have stats eventually.

Also, I'm pretty sure it appears in one of the Pathfinder Tales novels or stories, so there's an increased likelihood of it getting stats sooner rather than later.

I'd say where in Pathfinder Tales I saw one, but I don't want to spoil it.

I'm crossing my fingers that it appears in Bestiary 3, but I have no reason to believe it will except that it's been mentioned in some of the Pathfinder fiction and in Classic Horrors Revisited already.

It's a Malaysian critter, so it makes sense.

Hey there Alzrius,

Odds are that you already know this by now, but I'll say it anyway. I believe the penanggalen, with an e, is found in the third Bestiary. Why they changed the spelling (and thus make it slightly harder to find for those familiar with the core mythos) is beyond me. :P

Incidentally, its cousin the manananggal (which, as you may know, interests me more) is also in that book according to the OGL.
