Scarab Sages

Hey, I just moved to NYC early November & looking for a GM/Storyteller/gaming group that has room or wants another. (in person game, not play by post. haha)
I've usually played mystics, druids, witches, & sorcerers in 3.5 & PF, but have been known to play other things.
I'm up for any system really. I'd like to try some new ones outside of the d20 bubble, but it's all good.
Also open to any theme & setting - transhuman tragedy, epic fantasy, horror, real life drama, supernatural, etc
Pathfinder, World of Darkness (Werewolf would be awesome), Buffy, Cerulean Seas, Eoris, Noble Wild, Ars Magica, Minimus, Polaris, Strands of Fate, Eclipse Phase, diaspora, Into Dreams, etc etc, there are so damn many.
I'm 25, laidback & easy going, mellow & sane guy. I've GMed before too, but kind of want to be a player for a while again.
I'm in it for the character & the roleplay, the fun & the story. Let me know!

Availability-wise, I'm very open. I'm usually in the 70s of the UWS, but sometimes stay in Red Hook in Brooklyn. Up to travelling anywhere in the main city, & part of BK

Welcom to Cheliax, New York zabei.

We run two tables of PFS games every Wednesday as well as getting a Saturday PFS game off at least once a month. There are also several Pathfinder home games under way, off the top of my head there are at least five groups playing different APs ranging from a long running group trying to wrap up Rise of the Runelords to groups getting ready to start Jade Regent.

My group finished up Council of Thieves early this year and tomorrow we are actually playing Part III of Eyes of the Ten, the 12th Level PFS arc. There are also several other gaming groups that range from OD&D to Warhammer 40K that call New York home and that meet regularly.

Art Lobell is the Venture Captain in our area, and John S. heads up Nerd NYC.

So as you can see New York has a rich place to find almost any need your gaming heart desires.

I'd like to invite you to our PFS Wednesday night game to get the ball rolling, email spoilered.

Again, welcome to the city that never sleeps when it can game.

Did you send me an email?

Also looking in NYC but specifically Brooklyn/Queens. Have car will travel. I'd never make it to Manhattan on a weeknight, and weekends are iffy. Older crowd preferred for the non-awkwardness. 42 yo here.

We have a very mixed group, and can EASILY fill two PFS tables with Grognards (well over 30's) if that's what your looking for, in fact I'm sure six of my fellow players are older than you by a margin. You would be the 'kid' in some situations.

Two of our number are currently Venture Captains, four are Venture Lieutenants, and one former ne'er do well member just happens to currently be a developer at Paizo.

Hey, I will write you. Sorry it's taken so long to get back. I've been going crazy jobhunting.
Post holiday weekend at the latest, I'll get in touch with you. Today I played a gig so it wouldn't have worked anyway.
I'm glad you play Pathfinder! I don't know much about society - always been open world, but I'll give it a try.
I used to have Ultimate Magic, PHB, APG, but gave them to a friend when I moved. Thank goodness for the d20pfsrd!
THanks so much & talk to you soonish!

If that RotRl group is the one I'm thinking of, I keep dying in it.

Funny, i know of a CoCT group in NYC this keeps happening to. If you folks have difficulty finding a group, let me know; more than happy to add a sixth person to the group i GM in midtown.

Oh no I'm not complaining, it's just that I've died more than any other people in the group combined, but depending on the day of the week I wouldn't mind maybe joining another group, feel free to contact me.
