Are ALL Bardic Performances able to affect the Bard as well?

Rules Questions

Lantern Lodge

While some Bardic Performances like Inspire Courage clearly states that if can affect the Bard performing it, what about that performances like Inspire Competence, Dirge of Doom or Dweomercraft from the Magician Archetype?

Does the "including himself if desired." rule in Bardic Performances override any other wordings in the specific performances?

PS: I know Dirge of Doom targets enemies, but what if the Bard WANTS a Dirge of Doom performance to affect him....

Grand Lodge

Yes.

You are your own ally and you can affect yourself with your performances if you want too -- though why you would want to affect yourself with Dirge of Doom I can't understand.

Just wanted to cover all corners. Even for cases that that are hypothetical.

Thanks for the confirmation.
