This announcement made me just realized 10 was out, so I just downloaded it.
ummm, I am having problems with it.. All the maps are difficult to read because of the B&W but the shading on the map on page 47 make it impossible to read, I can barely tell what is what on that map, the map on page 48 is difficult to but not as bad as the prior.

Any way one can pre-order the Slumbering Tsar Complete Hardback yet?

Dragonmoon, I just pinged Chuck on this to see if we can fix it.

I was referring to ST but yes, in it's trail of darkness follows Rappan Athuk. I think when the Mayans thought the world was ending this year, they meant the world for PCs. By the end of the year, with both books out, there will be a mass extinction of players' characters all across the world!

What are you reading the PDF with, Dragonmoon? Looking at my PDFs using adobe acrobat on my Mac they are looking legible to me. On my iPad they are very dark but I know that the program I use darkens the snot out of all my PDFs.
I'm not sure what I can do to fix the problem, but I did lighten up the maps and increase the contrast for Slumbering Tsar 11. Please let me know if those are any better.

By the way, I just found out that there is an Adobe Reader app for mobile devices (it's free) and I did a comparison on my iPad and it doesn't have that darkening affect that Good Reader has.
The release date for the app is Oct. 17, 2011 so I don't know how many people know that Adobe Reader is available!
All of my sacrifices to the Great Adobe Pantheon have finally paid off.

Little_Regis wrote:ST 11 is up!!Hmm... is it just me, or is there an error on pages 42/43, when discribing the Kerouz game?
The table conatins numbers from 2 to 16 (rolled on 2d8), whereas the description on page 43 refers to 'nubers from 2 to 20', referencing the roll of 20 repeatedly...
Do'h, when I tinkered with the chaos globe stat block to streamline it a little bit, I forgot I had tied the odds of the Kerouz game in with it so closely. I have returned the stat block to its original number options, which should fix the discrepancy. We'll fix that in the hardback and the pdfs. Unfortunatley it has already gone to print for the soft covers, so I don't believe we'll be able to correct it there. However, just print this stat block and use it with the print version if you prefer dead tree adventures. Sorry about that folks.

It has been corrected!
I've sent a web copy off to the normal people I send web copies off to and I sent one off to our printer just in case it hasn't gone past the point of no return (I'm 99% sure it has, but we'll see what happens).
This brings up a question...what is FGG's policy on errata? Will all errata be incorporated into the PDF versions of your products? If so, will some sort of notification be sent out? And will the 3-downloads counter on the file storage system that you use (bytes interactive at www.aplusdownload.com) be reset if the files are updated?
Thanks.

I do not remember if at the time I was looking at it with good reader on my iPad or on my PC. I am on training trip so I can't check my PC, but I will download the adobe reader app you mentioned to see if there s a difference.
Edit: since #10 is not on my iPad I can confidently say that the shading issues I was having with the maps was on my PC using adobe acrobat reader. When I get home want me to snd a screen capture to someone to show what I am seeing?

We'll definitely be incorporating errata into the final compilation. Don't know about the individual adventure downloads yet. This particular bit of errata in question was just so egregious that it broke the game subsystem in the encounter, so we went ahead and did it. I don't know that I've seen any others that were to that level of errata. We'll look into it to see what it will take and if it is feasible to do for the individual pdfs.

I just don't know that I would use it.
I know what you mean. But I have OCD when it comes to gaming books and I'll buy alot of stuff I will never use. But I am hoping to use this along with Wizards Amulet, Crucible of Freya,Tomb of Abysthor and the new Rappan Athuk to make one mega dungeon crawly campaign AP
