Inquisitor multiclass

Advice

So I have decided I want to make melee inquisitor for our groups next campaign, but was wondering what multiclass options are available that keep the character good on DPR but have some extra utility. Was thinking either druid due to the animal and the shared wisdom as a strong stat or rogue for skill monkey and sneak attack since I will most likely be going for outflank and possibly travel domain.

25 point buy, Any good, 2nd level starting btw

I'd really stick with full BAB classes for your second multiclass: combining two 3/4 BAB classes, unless you do it just right, leaves you with a worse BAB than the base 3/4.

Me, I like Fighter for the multiclass... but then, one of the archetypal Inquisitors to me has always been Robert E. Howard's Solomon Kane. From the sound of things, the things you want to strengthen about your character would probably be better met with a multiclass into Ranger (or, if your alignment and personality fits it, Barbarian.)

Consider a half-elf if you're starting out with every intention of multiclassing... but you probably already know what race you want.

Inquisitors aren't great multiclassers, since essentially all of their abilities are level dependent. Plus, they don't really need it. If you want an animal companion, take Animal as your domain and the Boon Companion feat to bring it up to level. The 2 extra skill points for getting a level of rogue aren't going to make up for losing a level of all your Inquisitor abilities, and you can already get a form of sneak attack by using one of your teamwork feats for Precise Strike.

Really, in terms of both utility and damage, straight Inquisitor is likely your best bet.
