This was mentioned on a thread in the Advice subforum, found Here. Currently, the thread is being used as a debate-base, questioning the Supply and Demand of spells, and various other services, as well as the details of Creating and Funding one's own Library.
From it, a few clarifications should be made:
-= Selling Spellbooks =-
Is the Following Allowed by RAW?:
-A Level 5 Wizard has Cypher script as a feat. He wants to Duplicate a Spellbook (His own).
- The Spellbook he wants to recreate has 26 cantrips, 10 first level spells, 4 second level spells and 2 third level spells, for a total of 46 pages (thanks to Cypher Script)
- Because he has Cypher Script, the price is halved.
- Because he is Duplicating his own book, the price is halved again.
- The spellbook itself initially costs 10gp. It costs: 1.25 gp per Cantrip; 2.5 gp per first level spell; 10 gp per second level spell; 45 gp per third level spell.
- The Resulting cost of the new book is 155gp
- Because he has Cypher Script, the time to create it is divided by sixth
- Because he is Duplicating his own book, the time to create it is halved.
- The Total Time to create this book is 3 hours and 10 minutes.
And here's the kicker:
- Because such spellbooks "can be sold for an amount equal to half the cost of purchasing and inscribing the spells within", the level 5 Wizard is able to sell the book for 290gp, earning a clear 135gp profit.
- He can make as many of these per day as he desires, granting himself 8 hours of rest. ( max. 5 per day under these conditions )
- This character, with no other feat required other than Cypher Script, No craft skill, no profession, and not even the need to Create Wondrous Item, can make 675gp profit per Day by this method.
Now. Naturally this raises some controversy, especially with Supply and Demand for these books... but By RAW, is Everything above stated correctly?

Nothing seems out of place to me, in terms of 'is it possible'
Even so, as a DM, the chances of you doing this repeatedly are slim to none. The reasons are being gone over in your other thread. It simply isnt reasonable to assume all goods can be sold to all markets as many times as you want.
I dont want to belabor the point, especially this discussion is going on in the other thread, but a few key points to mention.
1. Almost any wizard starts play knowing all cantrips and x number first level spells. If your target market for this is wizards, they dont need half of whats in your book. If your target market is non-wizards, what possible use can they gain out of this?
2. The market for spellbooks is much smaller than for copying a single spell, for this reason. No wizard wants to pay for the entire thing rather than copy the one spell they need. Compare this to the james bond rereleases they did a while back. 5 movies per box set. I had 3 of each already. I wasnt buying the box set to get the other 2.
Food for thought...quite frankly (and this is the point I'm going to stress most here).
Pathfinder is about adventuring. Allowing someone to circumvent the adventuring system by generating a thousand gold per day on a regular basis without killing things and taking their stuff tends to throw WBL out of whack completely, and ruin the game for when you do want to adventure, making things harder for the DM.
The reason profession checks are in place, is to account for out of adventure profit like this, and thats what I'd adjudicate here. Otherwise we start looking at things like your overhead cost, your marketing costs, do you rent a store every month, what security costs do you have...
etc etc etc. I've watched your thread for the last week, and frankly...I know you're new to pathfinder, but it really isnt set up for this sort of stuff. it breaks the system, and it will take away fun from your campaign.
and that to me, is reason alone not to want to see it.

...Though it saddens me to hear such a verdict, There's little more I can expect. ^_^
The Demand for spellbooks is a given restriction. XD I just wanted to make sure, by RAW, I could do this. Hell, maybe one late day, I'll figure out a way to set up an international On-demand shop for Wizards' Spellbooks and Spells (Post Included). Simply to hear that my calculations hold true means I'll be Ready for that moment.
Maybe I truly Will desire to Uplift a community; Say a campaign setting imposed by the GM Actually results in me, and my fellow party-kin, having a Base of Operations in a town, or even small city. A couple of weeks of tweaking out the details... and Bam; I'll be ready to Bring that town into an age of prosperity.
These Are only My own ambitions. And, yes, people have made it Bloody clear that there will be Other people in the game besides me. XD
Truthfully, I can't think of a better way to pass the time, than to simply Stamp out the details of things I look forward to even the Chance of doing. ^_^
Give me enough time, and maybe I'll learn the rules well enough to even Suggest certain settings to a GM, or new ideas, or story plots.
