Rules Questions

Hello there, I've been browsing many theads on these questions, and I was hoping I could get some more concise answers on how they would apply.

Feinting with a ranged weapon - I understand you cannot normally do so. Would it be feasable to feint if you are in melee range with a ranged weapon to get the bonus? This is not much of an issue, our DM made a ruling that Greater Feint would let one feint at range, but it is something I'd like to poll the community about.

Up Close and Personal - Would it be terribly broken if one were to treat the gunslinger deed as Sneak Attack for requirements for other feats? Specifically I'm looking to take Sap Adept and Master, and 6 levels for Rogue is gonna really suck. It states that the damage stacks which is why I came to that conclusion.

TWF and other feats - Going through the TWF accompanying feats, I've noticed that none of the feats make mention between melee and ranged weapons. As in, can I apply my full strength modifier to my ranged attacks? Or does two hand crossbow bolts do rend damage with TWRend? Seems like another option for abuse for pistol wielding gunslingers.

Guns with TWF - I've noticed that there are no "light" guns available. With that being the case, it's still reasonable to TWF with two pistols taking -4 to both main and offhand, right?

I ask these to recreate Vash the Stampede. The only thing I can attempt to emulate really is his ability to deal nonlethal damage towith people, which is why he will have Bludgeoner, Sap Adept and Sap Mastery. Not to mention getting Sniper's Goggles custom made to look like his shades makes me a bit happy inside. :3

Feinting is possible with a ranged weapon or any weapon for that matter, it does not specify a weapon type. Furthermore, there is no range listed for feint. However, there is a problem here. Even if you feint with a ranged weapon you only cause them to lose your dex vs your next melee attack. So your GM has a lot more ruling to do to change Feint in favor of your gunslinger.

Feinting is a standard action. To feint, make a Bluff skill check. The DC of this check is equal to 10 + your opponent's base attack bonus + your opponent's Wisdom modifier. If your opponent is trained in Sense Motive, the DC is instead equal to 10 + your opponent's Sense Motive bonus, if higher. If successful, the next melee attack you make against the target does not allow him to use his Dexterity bonus to AC (if any). This attack must be made on or before your next turn.

@Up Close and Deadly as a replacement for sneak attacks - I would not allow you to use this to qualify for any feat with sneak attack as a requirement, in my opinion. Sneak Attack does not require grit. They are similar but not the same. But, that is up to your GM.

TWF does not differentiate between melee and ranged weapons. You apply 1/2 STR to off-hand attacks, but firearms and crossbows do not add STR to their attacks. Only thrown weapons and composite bows do this.

You may apply two weapon rend when hitting with two ranged weapons, one in each hand, but you'd only get an 1d10 if you use fire arms or crossbows.

Yes.
