Thank you guys! :3
Eridan: I totally skipped that whole thought process, I am now having thoughts of creating a construct motorcycle that I can wear as armor! That would be so freaking cool!
xn0o0cl3: I'm so very grateful for the stats to a moderately priced bike; while the goal is to get a bike that would be 900 GP or less, I'm sure I can modify it some (with GM approval) and spend all of my Rich Parents boon on acquiring it. I'll have to pick up that book and show it to the group; the Ranger with a Bike as an Animal Companion sounds pretty badass.
Maybe I'll combine both ideas! I'll run it by my GM and see if he'll let me get away with such shenanigans, it just sucks that I don't get to do any of this badassery as a Bard until so late in his progression.

Hello forum goers! I have come here looking for assistance on an idea for an awesome character concept.
I am looking to make the Kill Master from Brutal Legend, luckilyI have found a few variants of Bard that will help me heal from range and do other metal-ish things.
I now need a proper steed for him to use and as inferred by my title I was hoping I could get some help in figuring out how exactly to stat up a motorcycle since there is little base rules for it.
I am thinking that unlike the actual Thunderhog in the game, making a stand alone motorcycle would work best and tack on cargo space for the wounded with a wagon or something, treating the motorcycle as a large creature in pulling it.
The steam giant is the only ground vehicle that has stats associated with it and from that I extrapolated a few things: Alchemical Engines must equal 2 per size category and it should require some fuel (as a disadvantage, thinking of 1 flask alchemist fire per 2 hours or some such) but speed and cost is a bit harder to extrapolate. If needed I can explain more next post.

On page 217 of the DMG, it states that “the cost of the masterwork quality and any magical enhancement remains the same” regardless of a creature’s unusual size or shape. Adamantine and mithral both state that items made from such material are masterwork quality and the masterwork cost is part of the material cost listed. How much would a set of mithral chainmail barding for my warhorse cost?
A strict reading of the rules indicates that in such a case the masterwork cost for armor should be subtracted from the special material price before applying the multiplier for any unusual size or shape of the intended wearer.
For example, according to the Armor for Unusual Creatures chart on page 123 of the PH, a set of chainmail barding for a warhorse (a Large nonhumanoid creature) would normally cost 600 gp (four times the normal cost of 150 gp). A set of mithral chainmail barding would cost 16,000 gp: 600 gp for the chainmail barding plus 15,400 gp (the cost of mithral medium armor [4,000 gp], minus the masterwork cost for armor [150 gp], times 4).
What kills me is it says "A strict reading..." while an actually strict reading doesn't multiply the mithral at all.
But that's clearly the intent for 3.5, and since they didn't change it for PFRPG, I guess we can assume it's the intent here as well.
Ick.
Thanks guys for all of your help in this case. I'm going to guess that a rule reversal would be happening anytime soon, so 41,400 is the intended cost according to the 3.5 FAQ.
I would like to agree with Charender, the two times cost for the mithral makes sense; you're covering a creature that "in game" covers the same amount of squares, and other than the intricacies of crafting armor to cover their uniquely shaped bodies, I would think that it would use about the same material.
(9000x2)-Mithril CostX2 + (1500X4)- Armor Cost X4
Note to self: Never make a Centaur Fighter under these rules anytime soon. XP
As it so happened though, my DM stumbles upon this thread and I believe he will let me get away with Charender's math. But it's good to finally have a set in stone ruling that can be referenced, albeit a very costly ruling. Maybe that Mithril Breastplate armor will do better after all...

I've read a few different threads about the Order of Operations in regards to Barding and the like, and I wanted to poll the general community to (hopefully) give me some backing that many people feel this way (Looking at you, Cavaliers!)
I'm looking into outfitting my Tiger with (eventually) Mithral Full Plate. These are all the values used in these expressions.
Full Plate 1,500 GP/Mithral, Heavy 9,000 GP/Large NonHumanoid X4 Cost
A. (1,500+9,000)*4 = 42,000 GP
B. (1,500*4)+9,000 = 15,000 GP
My DM adheres to A, but with a 27,000 GP difference I could buy a TON of magical stuff to boost his AC instead. It's not like he's lacking magic item slots or anything. What does everyone else think?

Hello there, I've been browsing many theads on these questions, and I was hoping I could get some more concise answers on how they would apply.
Feinting with a ranged weapon - I understand you cannot normally do so. Would it be feasable to feint if you are in melee range with a ranged weapon to get the bonus? This is not much of an issue, our DM made a ruling that Greater Feint would let one feint at range, but it is something I'd like to poll the community about.
Up Close and Personal - Would it be terribly broken if one were to treat the gunslinger deed as Sneak Attack for requirements for other feats? Specifically I'm looking to take Sap Adept and Master, and 6 levels for Rogue is gonna really suck. It states that the damage stacks which is why I came to that conclusion.
TWF and other feats - Going through the TWF accompanying feats, I've noticed that none of the feats make mention between melee and ranged weapons. As in, can I apply my full strength modifier to my ranged attacks? Or does two hand crossbow bolts do rend damage with TWRend? Seems like another option for abuse for pistol wielding gunslingers.
Guns with TWF - I've noticed that there are no "light" guns available. With that being the case, it's still reasonable to TWF with two pistols taking -4 to both main and offhand, right?
I ask these to recreate Vash the Stampede. The only thing I can attempt to emulate really is his ability to deal nonlethal damage towith people, which is why he will have Bludgeoner, Sap Adept and Sap Mastery. Not to mention getting Sniper's Goggles custom made to look like his shades makes me a bit happy inside. :3
Alright, now that I am moving a character concept to 3.5, I've found a few more snags along the way. It seems the multiple read-throughs of the "Rules of the Game" article on Unarmed Attacks no longer applies 100% to the Pathfinder system.
The character I'm creating would end up having 2 natural attacks, the vampire's slam, and a bite attack. The character would be the Battledancer who lacks FoB, but retains the unique offhand property of Monks (Full STR, no "off hand" penalty).
24 STR, ECL 8, TWF
BAB 6/1
TWF 4/4/-2
TWF&Nat 4/4/-2/1/1
Would that be correct?
Ah yes, I apologize for the failure on my part to RTFM, I read that a few days after I posted; I felt very dumb coming back here because of it. Command Undead works for my purposes, thanks!
I was going to look into a more heavy adaption later on, but I guess I can skip it for now; I think the "extra 1d4-1" attacks seems a bit too broken for actual use. story-wise though it's freaking awesome. I'll need to see if I can playtest it with one of my DMs.
Edit: I fail hard, and so does my memory.

After looking at some interesting variants from old Dragon issues, I happened to stumble upon a monk that does not need to be lawful. It seems the Flurry of Blows works off of a strange mechanic, and I'm not quite sure if it would be balanced to use in game. Their FoB is roll 1d4 -1, that is how many extra attacks you get for taking a -2 on every attack roll made. It progresses as you gain levels of course, but since Pathfinder ruled that FoB now acts as a free Two Weapon Fighting for monks, I was wondering how to go about using this mechanic; my embodiment of chaos would love this.
Battledancer/Chaos Monk/Barbarian/Tempest
I figure TWF wouldn't stack with the new FoB. But I was also wondering, would a sane DM allow a monk to take Two Weapon Defense without monk weapons? While not quite realistic, I could see a monk slapping a greatsword away.
My second question was regarding the removal of turning/rebuking/destroying/controlling undead. I was hoping to see if someone has thought about adding it back into the system to see if it would throw off balance, a character I've used has had implications of being controlled by an evil cleric to do really bad things.
