Multiple attacks Monsters

Rules Questions

Silver Crusade

I know this is probably a simple questions that gets asked many times, but since it has been a long time since I ran anything 3.x I thought I would ask about multiple attacks for monsters.

If a monster has greataxe +11/+6 (3d6+9/×3), bite +6 (1d8+3), gore +6 (1d6+3)
, I know it doesn't get all of the attacks unless it makes a full round action, but if it makes a standard action attack with the greataxe, does it swing twice?

Also, if a creature had bite +10 (1d6+4), 2 claws +10 (1d4+4), as an attack entry, if it spent a standard action to attack with it's claws does it attack with both claws(i.e. two attacks) or does the standard action only allow it to attack with only 1 claw?

Thanks.

No; it will swing only once with a standard action attack at its highest base attack bonus.

It would only have one attack if attacking with a standard action rather than a full attack action, even if it used a claw rather than its bite.

EDIT: Didn't notice that the thread was a double post- you're question was likely already answered.
