Target one creature, or one nonmagical object of up to 100 cu. ft./level
It says that you can change objects from smaller to larger. But it does not say how big. Should it be assumed that you can't make an object larger than 100 cubic feet per level? With no limit you could polymorph a pebble into a planet.

This spell is a proud nail that I really wish was hammered in Pathfinder the same way that polymorph was. I've attempted to rewrite it, but it's so vaguely worded that it's difficult to even quantify. Basically, house rules asside, it's (as Nightskies noted) the god mode for arcane casters.
Sorry if that sounded rant-like. Meh.

One of the things that I don't get is why everyone's always saying it's so overpowered. Even if you do the mutiple polymorph thing the duration is still permanent, not instant, so the change itself can always be dispelled. The spell also says, in no uncertain terms, that you do not get any of the special qualities like fast healing, spell-like abilities, supernatural abilities, etc...any reasonable GM will say that, although it's not explicitly stated, you don't get a dragon's arcane casting boosts.
I'm not saying it's a bad spell. There are things you can do to boost your saves insanely, extend your life, and there's nothing quite like chucking a few giants into a mass battle. It's a good spell, it's just not the be-all end-all of the arcane.
