k for those of you that don't know we will have a race called ratfolk appearing within the next bestiary 3 and we have finally gotten the stat mods and things for them in the beta for the advanced races race builder. Now after finding all of this amazing news though I am left with a quandary as to how to play them. As a GM I feel like they would make an awesome skaven-like race with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with that (already have 2 different builds for rat-orge's and a ratfolk vivisectionist will make the perfect packmaster). My problem is that once you pull that on them you kind of make them no longer playable for PC's since the first rule with skaven is "Never trust a Skaven!". Now does anyone have any suggestions on what to do or how they have played with them? Would love to hear anything people are willing to offer and you guys have helped come up with some very creative answers with me in the past. (also if someone would like to get the rat-orge stats or help me bang that out would love to hear it, I've gotten to test them a bit thus far and they are fun as hell.)

know that but they are still a great race full of flavor that just screams a pathfinder vibe, also as a gm I am able to near completely copy paste them if I really wanted. The point though is that that is neither here nor there since I would rather not and have come here for some input from and new and interesting ideas that could allow me to make this nasty race of the Umbral Roads (my underdark) and maybe still be playable as a character race without pulling a drizzt's.
