I can't seem to find it now, but I seem to recall that special abilities in 3.5 that duplicated the effects of feats qualified as prerequisites for other feats just as if you actually had the feat. It may have been a house rule, but has anyone else heard of this?
If it were so in 3.5, is it still true in Pathfinder? A specific example being the Zen Archer's "Reflexive Shot" ability. It's clear that the Snap Shot feat in Ultimate Combat was based on this, but since the Zen Archer predates this feat, it would seem it was added as an ability rather than a bonus feat. As such, would it be far off to say the Reflexive Shot ability qualifies as one of the prerequisite for Improved Snap Shot?
Thanks,
