I'm working on a more involved thread that catches most of my observations, but this one doesn't fit there, so I'm posting it separately:
Large and Tiny should probably not give a size bonus to ability scores, since then this would lead to weirdness where it doesn't stack with size bonuses from spells or abilities. It doesn't make sense that an ogre would gain +2 strength from Enlarge Person while an Advanced Race Guide 'Ogron' race would not.

Am I the only one who wants to see 'Large' and other sizes without ability modifiers? We have a price for ability mods, so we can add them if we want them.
I want to know the values of:
+-1 AC.
+-1 to hit.
+-1 CMB.
+-1 CMD.
+-4 Stealth.
10x10 Space.
Bigger Space.
Smaller than 5ft space.
Prices of the ability to use each size category of weapon from diminutive through colossal.
Then you can package them in convenient "size packages" with prices on each individual sub-ability, so if I want to make a large creature who takes up 5x5 (I've seen it in monster manuals) with 10ft reach, I know the prices. Or whatever.
I want to know the prices of each little fiddly bit, not in relation to whole packages, but in relation to the other fiddly bits.
If you can convenience me with pre-assembled packages and their costs to save me the time, great, like the base forms for the eidolon in UM. But dont just give me the premade packages. Its the fiddly bits that I need.

I'm fine with this if the Large trait is repriced to suit.

Of course. :)
I would like to see that approach taken with everything. Dont price a package and just give us a total, price all the individual bits of the package, and let us know how you got the total.
I hope a Dev sees this and possibly responds...

I still think it's worthwhile to have a few "packages" as well (for standardization purposes), but noting the individual costs is definitely a good thing.
Subtypes and size changes are two very good examples of things that should have standard packages of abilities, but also have all the sub-abilities priced separately in case you want to use them for something else.

Oh sure. I said that up top somewhere. do like the eidolon Templates in UM. Give us cost with a total with a list of features, but include the costs of the individual thingies somewhere, so if we want something thats not covered, we can figure out how much it costs.
Especially for types, subtypes, and sizes. Like: Right now, can you price out a dragon? How much would it cost for the dragon type? what about a non-native outsider, demon subtype.
If they give us the individual bits, they dont have to provide every example, they can provide a few, and if one isnt there, we can just add up the features it has and see the cost.
