I'm sorry if this has already been answered but the threads I found where over 100 posts long.
Have they errataed it to make useing a sheild not an Automatic off-hand attack? Like if you use a short sword (light weapon) and a heavy Sheild (one-hand weapon, same catagory as a lon sword) would you be at -2/-2 for the attacks? Claiming that the sheild is your Main hand weapon. Also getting the shield a 1:2 PA raito and the sword a 1:1
On a related note, can you twohand a shield?
thanks :)

I know they plan to errata the "off-hand shield" thing, but I'm not sure if they have done so yet.
As for two-handing a shield: By RAW it's perfectly okay to do so with a heavy shield, but don't be surprised if some DMs take offense to the idea (despite numerous real-world examples of such usage). In short, the heavy shield is a one-handed weapon, and one-handed weapons can be wielded with two hands if desired. No exception is made for shields in relation to this rule.

The shield-and-shield two-handed fighter is far more efficient; weapon focus / spec applies to both :).
I don't believe you can two-hand a shield and wear it though; that has been answered in the past.
Does the scizore count as a shield for the purposes of weapon training? It does provide a shield bonus to AC, has a d10 damage die, and is hard to disarm. It's really hard to put, and imposes a -1 on attack rolls, but meh, who's keeping track of that here?
