Campaign Cartographer 3 Map of the Stolen Lands and Brevoy

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Here's a map I just finished for those using Campaign Cartographer 3. I used artistic license with the creation, including creating a few villages and settlements using the same naming concepts of the original areas as well as logic to dictate where communities would be even in sparsely populated countries.

You can download it here: http://ottergoose.org/Pathfinder.html

Feedback welcome.

Could you show a png or jpeg picture of your map?

I'm on vacation and I don't have CC3 installed on my laptop. I'ld like to know what's waiting for me. :D

The textures and the like didn't properly upload so the map looks funky on my end, but one thing I did notice is that you made Brevoy... a lot smaller than it should be.

The area of the Stolen Lands should be about 1/5th the size of Brevoy as a whole according to the Golarion map. You have it about equal, if not a little smaller.

At the area you're looking at, Brevoy should dominate about 2/3rds of the upper-right corner of the map, with the Stolen Lands (and a little past, into Mivon) should cover the full lower third and Pitax/Numeria the left third.

The map has now been updated. Some of the graphics used come from the Sarah Wroot style add-on from Profantasy. You can purchase them online.

Thanks for the feedback! I think the new file is a lot better. I am sure it will need some more work, but so far so good!

It is also now available in JPG format.

Veyr nice work. I've got CC3 and thought about using it more for my Kingmaker campaign, but just haven't had the time.

Your JPG is zoomed too far out to be useful.

A larger image would be a great resource. From what detail I can make out from this range, it looks really cool!

For a somewhat different (and admittedly much less ambitious) take on a CC3 Kingmaker Map, I've got mine here.

Maps Menu->The Stolen Lands...there is a link to the file there, as well as an output option that I think is ideal for web use.

For best effect on the FCW file, turn on sheet effects, and hide the 'Unexplored' layer.

That looks much better size-wise, although I've only seen the zoomed out JPG.
