Questions for creating ghosts

Am creating some ghosts for my campaign and have come across an issue that isn't clearly answered in the ghost template.

When you turn a creature into a ghost do they retain their racial abilities?

ex. would a dwarven ghost still retain the greed, hatred, hardy, and stonecunning abilities?

From the template:
"A ghost retains all the base creature's statistics and special abilities except as noted here."

Thanks Sean,

I wasn't certain if the hardy trait would have been considered a physical defensive ability or if it was part of the nature of a dwarf and there by usable in ghost form.

Unless an template says "you lose the following abilities/ability categories," the creature keeps them. :)

Well it does say "save those that rely on a corporeal form to function". Does being hardy require having a physical form?

The description of the hardy ability doesn't say it requires a physical form, so no.

(I can easily imagine some ghosts as being hardier than others, so the idea of a hardy dwarf ghost who's more resistant to magic than a human ghost is A-OK with me.)
