Successor to Goodwin's Law?

Website Feedback

Goodwin's law has been around for a while, but I think there should be a new one:

Any discussion on the Paizo boards will sooner than later have someone call someone else a Troll or tell them they have a straw man argument.

It may not be unique to here, but it's prominent here. I prefer to see people having opinions and others disagreeing without such dismissive labels.

Anyone else?

Oh, and posts about this being trolling? Not funny.

You're clearly new to the Interwebz. Not only did you misspell Godwin's name twice, but you also seem to be surprised about that whole trolling thing.

For some of us, it's just a way of life.

Strawman.

Dark Archive

Allow me to echo the sentiments of the right honorable Evil Lincoln and Pan Gorbacz.

But I'm not Canadian!

I want a Goodman's Law.

We don't need less discussion of The Big Lebowski and King Ralph clogging the boards.

What about a Goodman Games Law?

Silver Crusade

Considered it for a long time, but Broncosaurus Rex earns them immunity from anything forever.

The longer we produce 4E stuff, the probability of us doing a weird 1E clone approaches 100%?

Hoyles Law of Paizoboarding: After such time as Godwin's Law may be invoked, there is a chance that instead of invoking Hitler, Paizonites may just smurf everything the smurf up by smurfing the smurfs.

I wrote that back in the days of Dragon and Dungeon.

Scarab Sages

I thought for sure that any kind of Paizo's Law would contain mention of Sebastian and all the evil for which he stands.
