Bardic Performance for Non-Bards?

Advice

Silver Crusade

Is there any way to get the Bardic Performance class feature without being a Bard within published Paizo products? It doesn't need to be any specific performance, just the class feature itself.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Pathfinder Chronicler PrC?

Basic question, what do you want to do? Build something like a non-caster Bard? Or something like a 4e Warlord?

The new monk archetype "Sensei" gives certain kinds of bardic performance; not sure about the class as a whole (certainly makes for an atypical monk), but it could be interesting.

There's a feat I want: Spellsong from Ultimate Magic, and it requires Bardic Performance, but Bards themselves don't get too many spells per day, so I was hoping to add it to a better casting class.

Evangelist. Get cleric spellcasting and it counts as bardic performance for feats.

This is about the truest form of bardic music you can get while still remaining useful. It's also an excellent application of that feat.

Might want to read the text on that feat carefully - Spellsong only applies to bard spells...

"First, you can conceal the activity of casting a bard spell...Second, as a move action, you can use 1 round of bardic performance to maintain a bard spell..."

So it's not going to do you much good if you're not a bard in the first place.

That's a sharp observation, and absolutely correct. RAW it's not going to work.

Aw SNAP! Thanks for noticing that! Well, back to the drawing board...
