Fighters & Sneaking Precision; or "Who needs a high crit range weapon, anyways?"

Advice

The feat Sneaking Precision allows someone with the sneak attack class feature to apply the effects of a critical feat after the second successful sneak attack in a round.

Seems to me that it'd be worth it for a two-handing Falcata fighter to dip into rogue (or better, vivisectionist) to get sneak attack, then flank to still get the nasty effects of Critical Feats, all while doing good damage. As a bonus, you could conceivably inflict an extra critical effect in a round.

Is this worth the one level dip?

I saw that feat yesterday and It looked pretty good, yes a 1 level dip seems reasonable, crits cannot be waranteed, but a sneak attack is a bit more common.

Dipping into the Thug rogue archetype could have some good synergy with Cornugon Smash/Shatter Defenses, making sure that you get sneak attack even when not flanking or attacking a flat-footed opponent. Plus, hey, Perception and Acrobatics as class skills. Neat.

Sneaking precision is kind of bizarre for a feat though :(. Sure it has a nice effect, but look at the requirements.. and the requirements of those feats ;)

-Sneaking Precision:Sneak attack, Crit Focus, any Critical feat, BaB +9
- Critical Focus, BaB +9
- Bleeding Crit: Crit Focus, BaB +11
- Deafening crit: Crit Focus, BaB +15
- Sickening Crit: Crit Focus, BaB +11
- Staggering Crit: Crit Focus, BaB +13
- Stunning Crit: Crit Focus, BaB +17
- Tiring Crit: Crit Focus, BaB +13
- Exhausting Crit: Tiring Crit, BaB +15
- Crippling Crit: Crit Focus, BaB +13

These potentials at least would explain the requirements & be potentially awesome.... but they are (Combat) feats rather than (Combat, Critical) and are pretty high up another feat chain (3+ I think)
- Repositioning Strike: Improved Reposition, BaB +9
- Sundering Strike: Improved Sunder, BaB +9
- Tripping Strike: Improved Trip, BaB +9

You can't even take the Sneaking Precision feat until your Secondopen feat slot after 11 assuming you were a full BaB class all those times and managed to get Sneak attack without losing a point of BaB in the process (seems unlikely there). It looks like something is in need of errata somewhere
Edit: As it is... It's pretty much only usable for rogue1 fighter XX type thingssince a straight rogue doesn't even meet the requirements for the required feat it lets you use on the second sneak attack until level 15 when they hit BaB +11 to qualify for the critical feat it requires to take sneaking precision. They hit BaB +9 three levels earlier when they hit 12 by the way. Becausw they can't take it until they have the required critical feat, they can't take it until their first feat after level 15
