haste is a 2nd level spell, dimension door a 3rd.
according to the rules in the core book for determining cost for a scroll, its the caster level x the spell level x 25gp.
since dimension door used to be 7 x 4 x 25 = 700gp, and is now 525 from 3rd level summoners list, and haste scrolls are now 150g for 2nd level list. ( since items are always priced by whoever it costs least to create the item )
have scroll prices really dropped ? or is there some restriction on another arcane caster picking up these scrolls and using them?

Yes, but only if the town stores any. But you can create them for cheaper yourself.
Also Stoneskin is now potion friendly due to summoner.

The availability of Summoner's with Scribe Scroll (or Brew Potion) is the issue here. I imagine these are not universally available for hire.
Also, the stupidity of said summoner's; if a Wizard HAS to make his scrolls for more, why would this theoretical Summoner not make a greater profit by matching his price and making a greater profit?
Note, this doesn't (completely) apply to PC Summoner's; they dont get to make a greater profit, but they do get cheaper crafting prices.

As long as you're not asking about PFS, then yes, your GM can let you find summoner based scrolls such as this. Note haste would be 200g (4x2x25), since a summoner has to be 4th level to cast a 2nd level spell.
Same way, you can have a wand of lesser restoration for 750g in a home game, IF your GM allows you to find a paladin who has craft wands around.

Summoner is not like a wizard in the sense of getting new spell levels every odd level.
So it would get haste at level 4, and cost...
4 x 2 x 25, which is 200 gp.
thanks, right, posted the cost for a wiz/cleric 2nd level scroll.
wand prices drop too. haste wand = 4 x 2 x 750 = 6000 vs. 11,250.
in an individual campaign, it may be the case that price could fluctuate based on availability. but RAW, the price just dropped. in game i guess that means that larger metro areas have access to a crafting summoner?
I'm really curious if there's anything in PFS regarding this.

Is there a caveat in the pfs society guide? i was just about to boot my acrobat reader and check into it. has the question already been handled there?
... ahh yes there it is. they presume all items are made by a cleric /druid/wizard, except spells not on those classes lists.
got it. thanks !

This is a known 'feature' of the bard casting mechanic... 3rd level confusion, charm monster, etc.
The summoner was built along those lines and illustrates it.
If you want a house rule suggestion, set a 'intrinsic' level for each spell that determines things like save DC, item costs, and item interactions, etc.

I think there is a list of classes somewhere that dictates the order in which you should check their spell list for availability for the spell. The first class on the list that has the spell is considered to be the default class to provide that spell for magic items. Wizard is the first class on that list and Cleric the second, I forgot about the rest and can't find the list at the moment.
