Hello everyone.
Lets play a matching Games:
Ok! You have been task to match a class to any race type. The races can be from any of the Books(Core Pathfinder Book, Bestiary 1 and 2). What I mean is; any race that are also creature Type too(Any, but No Drows). Onces you have selective the Race to match the class please tell me why you have choosen that race for that class. Also archtypes counts to.
The Class are:
1. Magus
2. Rogue
3. Gunslinger
4. Ninja
5. Samurai
6. Cleric
7. Summonner
8. Paladin
9. Barbarian
10. Witch
Please Keep in mind no alignment is a factor here. any alignment can be used. So if a race is evil can be also good. No matter of the situation is.
Thanks and have fun.

Magus - Elf. It fits the whole elven martial/magic thing.
Rogue - Halfling. Very iconic for the little guy.
Gunslinger - Human. The pioneers behind the technology.
Ninja - Human or Fetchling. Martial traditions like that are generally a human thing.
Samurai - Human. Again, martial tradition.
Cleric - Tricky, since all races are religious. I'll give this one to dwarves, because of how close to their gods and ancestors they tend to be.
Summoner - Gnome. They have close ties to different realms and such.
Paladin - Human. They tend to take the militant approach to religion.
Barbarian - Human. Barbaric human cultures are all over Golarion.
Witch - Tiefling. The ties to dark patrons fits them well.

Hm, this is going to be interesting...
1. Magus - Half-Elf. Combining the magical traditions of elves with the ever growing martial traditions of humans.
2. Rogue - Gotta go with Halfling too.
3. Gunslinger - Goblin
4. Ninja - Tengu. Yep, I can sneak attack you with your own sword.
5. Samurai - Dwarf. They've got the whole lawful society thing going on.
6. Cleric - Aasimar. "My many-times great grandpa was an angel you know."
7. Summoner - Gnome. Who do you think made the first Jabberwocky?
8. Paladin - Human. They're everywhere, so why shouldn't the gods use 'em? ;)
9. Barbarian - Halfling again. Sometimes it's fun to be 32lbs and throwing wagons at people.
10. Witch - Tiefling. Feed the tainted blood inside with ever darker magic.

My picks:
Magus--Gnome. They have to do something interesting every year or they bleach (in Golarion), so it makes sense that they'd become multitalented.
Rogue--Tiefling. Stereotypically, they're either jerks or ostracized and forced to live on the streets.
Gunslinger--Human or Dwarf; steampunk dwarves are a trope.
Ninja--Gonna second SunsetPsychosis--fetchling. Just because they'd be amazing at it.
Samurai--Half-elf. They're traditionally diplomatic and could command an army of humans and elves.
Cleric--Oread. Stable and reliable, the kind of person you'd trust to get those touch spells from.
Summoner--Grippli. Physically weak, but SO. FRIGGIN. ADORABLE. The eidolon could be a giant frog...
Paladin--Kobold. He's mended his ways, but he is still a proud scion of the draconic race.
Barbarian--Humans. They can throw halflings, which is better than throwing wagons.
Witch--Goblin. I can just see a goblin trying to be a "swamp witch" and living in a little hut, putting hexes on the blundering big people...

Everyone seems to chose humans for barbarians, but the seem o skip the obvious, orcs and half orcs.
Then the correct answer for each question is
Human, and *other Race I like inserted here*
Thematically speaking the half races, i.e. Half-Elves, and Half Orcs are suited for classes that exist most strongly on the marginal edges of society, rogue, witch, sorcerer, ninja.

Yes! A lot of people always use the same typical Creature like the Humans andelf types. I do see that Azten and Malebranche open more on the randomness choices. I was hoping more ramdom picks like Cyclops, Half-Dragon, Vegepygmy, and many others.
This Thread is too have fun.

Witch - Half Elf, because they can cause unfortune to people who insult their ancestry, and the coven gives them a culture they can belong to
Paladin - Human, as they are they only one stupid enough to pledge to an absolute cause.
Anti-Paladins by the way, also Human, same reason
Cleric ... dwarf, human, but any other race would also take it. Dwarf like casting in armor, humans like having gods watching over them and to venerate something.

1. Magus - Elf, this is the sort of thing they have been known for doing since 1st Ed
2. Rogue - Gnome, good at manipulating others and things both out in the trenches, or socially in the courts, all aspects of the class work with the Gnome
3. Gunslinger - Half ElF; Those who are semi-social outcasts are usually the first ones to look to something new and still have the connections and education to to get access to them.
Will get to the rest later.

Fun you say? I can do that.
Bard - Pseudodragon again. You ever have that really annoying song you just can't get out of your head? It's this guys fault.
Cleric/Inquisitor - Goblin again. Burn the heretics for their blasphemous literary ways!
Paladin - Unicorn. +2 Holy Gore Attack of Flame anyone?
Summoner(Synthesist) - Kobold. Nothing will surprise your players more than a transparent dragon that appears to have swallowed a kobold.
Barbarian - Awakened Badger, 'nuff said.
Witch(Gravewalker) - Halfling with the Childlike and Pass for Human feats. Gets his/her spells back by have tea parties with a really creepy doll.

A lot of the new classes are mostly based on various pseudohistorical archetypes, which would imply human... but meh, let's spice things up a bit
1. Magus - Elf, merging magic and fighting skill is something that used to be their schtick a long way back. Does anyone remember when elf used to be a class as well?
2. Rogue - Halfling, opportunists, layabouts and scoundrels to the last.
3. Gunslinger - half-elf. Elves are a bit too "magical" for the job, but the half-breeds are notoriously adaptable, have just enough taste for flair from the long-eared parent, and like to play with cool toys.
4. Ninja - human or halfling. Halfling ninjas can give you nightmares... not to mention paedophobia. Dhampirs may be quite good, too, if you consider them a bit too "mystical" for regular rogues.
5. Samurai - human, would be cool for dwarf if the dwarf wasn't charisma challenged. Humans are probably one of the few races to really get into it.
6. Cleric - dwarf is somewhat typical, but I'd say it really depends on the deity. For example, half-elves would be great for clerics of callistria, humans for Iomedae, dwarves or elves for Erastil (hey, I like my pointy-ears being nature-affiliated and conservative every now and then) and halflings for Desna.
7. Summonner - gnome, they are half-extraplanar to begin with. Crazy imagination and good stats help, too.
8. Paladin - eh, human is fine, though half-orc can also be great. Most races can have cool paladin concepts imo.
9. Barbarian - half-orc, possibly human or half-elf. Mind you, I've long wanted to make a gnome barbarian and crush those lumbering giants beneath my steel-toed boot. Oh yeah, and hear the lamentation of their spouces. Apparetnly they sing good or something.
10. Witch - elf, possibly half-elf. It's a bit more nature-themed than the wizard, and tends to be a bit more mysterious than the academic-like wizzies.

4. Ninja: I would have to say Tiefling
5. Samurai: Human
6. Cleric: looking for recognition, looking for an accepting culture, I say half-orc. If they are not accepted by culture at least the might have faith.
7. Summonner: Halfling, having a big guy looking out for them seems like something they would like.
8. Paladin: Any
9. Barbarian: Orc and Half-Orcs
10. Witch: Hard to say really, I just don't get a grasp of the witches aesthetics in this world.

Awesome I love the ones you have Tazten. The Pseudodragon and the goblin.
