Alchemist Spells / Formula

I was looking for the number of formula an Alchemist gets at 1st level and I could find it nowhere. I have some time constraints (PFS after work) could someone let me know?

They get 2+Int at first level.

What about progression at level 2 and beyond? I dont understand it, it says on the webpage:

"At each new alchemist level, he gains one new formula of any level that he can create."

what does that mean? if I hit 2nd level can I choose a 6th level formula? It says ANY level, please help. Does it mean if I hit level 3 I have access to 3rd level formulas like haste and fly as a 3rd level character?
